Allen Medical Center is a multispecialty clinic operating in the greater Morris, Illinois area since 1991. At Allen Medical we provide a wide spectrum of patient care services including well-child visits, school and daycare physicals, general physical exams, DOT physicals, sports physicals, employment physicals, workman's compensation exams, acute care, minor office procedures, general pediatrics, breast-feeding counseling with a certified lactation consultant, family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics and general surgery.

Dr. James A. Allen, MD, FACS is a general surgeon in practice since 1991. He is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgery. Dr. Allen received his bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology at Millikin University. He attended medical school at Southern Illinois University at Springfield and did his residency in general surgery at University of Missouri at Kansas City, St. Luke's Hospital. His areas of special interest include gastrointestinal endoscopy and surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and breast cancer.
  

 

Dr. Peter Roumeliotis, MD is an internist practicing general internal medicine since 1993. Dr. Roumeliotis received his medical degree from University of Patras School of Medicine, in Greece. He served his residency in Internal Medicine at Mercy Hospital in Chicago. He is board eligible in Internal Medicine.

  
Dr. David G. Vermillion, MD, FAAP, FACP is a practicing internist and pediatrician. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians. He received his bachelor's degree in psychology and biology and his master's degree in in biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois-Rockford and did his residency in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics (2+2) at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. He has been in the Morris area since 1993 and at Allen Medical Center since 1997.  
Dr. Bradley Lawton, MD, is a specialist in family practice providing health care to infants, children and adults. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He received his bachelor's degree in bioscience/kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He graduated medical school from the University of Illinois at Rockford and did a three year residency in Family Medicine at the LaGrange Family Practice Residency Program in LaGrange, Illinois. He has lived in Morris since 2000 and has been at the Allen Medical Center since 2006. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.  
Cari Pierard, APRN, BC is a certified nurse practitioner working with Dr. Roumeliotis. She graduated from Saint Joseph College of Nursing in 1994 and worked primarily in the field of Cardiology. In 2004, she graduated from the University of Saint Francis with a master's degree in nursing, specializing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She has been working at Allen Medical Center since June 2005.
Jennifer Jones, APN, FNP-BC is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in family practice to promot health and prevent illness. She graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2007 as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is board certified. She has been a registered nurse for 25 years with experience in critical care and emergency services. She has been working with Dr. Allen at Allen Medical Center since 2007.

Our front office staff are eager to take your call or assist with scheduling your appointment.

  
Our patient care staff constists of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants. They can help answer your health related questions, take your vital signs, and assist in minor procedures.  
Our billing staff are ready to answer your questions about your bill. We automatically submit your bill to your primary insurance electronically. We follow up on your secondary insurance, make necessary referrals and authorizations.

Office Hours:

Our office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday throught Friday.

 

Directions:

Coming from the North:

Take Il. Rt. 47 South to Bedford Road and turn West (right). Continue to Deerpath and turn South (left). Go one block and turn right on Dresden Drive. Continue 1/2 block and the office is on the North (right) side of the street.

Coming from the South:

Take IL Rt. 47 North to Bedford Road and turn West (left). Continue to Deerpath and turn South (left). Go one block and turn right on Dresden Drive. Continue 1/2 block and the office is on the North (right) side of the street.

Coming from the West:

Take Interstate 80 East to the Morris Exit #112, (Il. Rt. 47). Take the exit South (right) and proceed to Bedford Road and turn West (right). Continue to Deerpath and turn South (left). Go one block and turn right on Dresden Drive. Continue 1/2 block and the office is on the North (right) side of the street.

Coming from the East:

Take Interstate 80 West to the Morris Exit #112, (Il. Rt. 47). Take the exit South (left) and proceed to Bedford Road and turn West (right). Continue to Deerpath and turn South (left).
